Goodness, these inverters will have spent more "transit time" in the continental U.S. than they did on the boat from China! I did not realize it had been so long.

Things are not moving well in the US right now. The USPS won't even guarantee next day Express Mail to Ohio right now. The best they will do is guarantee that they won't lose it. Or give you your money back. I sent a Priority Mail letter to Pittsburgh on the 11th. It still hasn't gotten there according to them.
My shipment from Iowa arrived today and the box looked like they had drug it behind the truck to get it here. Know that they dropped it somewhere as they managed to bend the rim of the rotor which is hard to do on them. And shattered 4 of the magnets inside it.

Not even worth the effort to try. I'll salvage some of the good magnets out of the bent one to replace some damaged ones in a couple other rotors. The stator is intact which is the part that I needed most. If I file for damages, they take the whole unit and I'd lose the stator. This is what they look like:

As long as they don't delay any further...they should be delivered to Sean's tomorrow. Won't that be a day for confetti and streamers, at long last!
Great!!! Now I'm searching for the how to Play with your Fuzzy GS Inverter manual. Just started installing the batteries in the room, slowly bring that online and on the solar charger, so far so good. Its Floating around 28.7V at the moment. I have no way of discharging them to top shave them, since all my stuff was for 12v.
Might want to film their arrival, Sean. Would make for some great memories.

I'm sure he will...it would certainly be a memorable occasion for the "first shipment." Fingers crossed...
. . . . Waiting,. . . . Waiting, biteing nails. . . . . Waiting more. . . . . Starting to trimble. . . . Waiting. . . Starting to pull hair from head. . . . Waiting. . . . The Waiting!!!! Its Torture!!!!!
So it looks like the shipping company decided to not deliver the inverters today. Tracking says they're still at the warehouse, and I haven't heard anything from Sean...I was expecting my phone to blow up with photos of the load anytime today...
Perhaps it comes as no surprise that the shipping company has a 2-star rating on Google, out of 200 reviews.
Last time we're using them if we have a choice, that's for sure.
*growls deeply* At least it gives you more time to write the code. but, geesh, this is insane. I should have kept my PJ hooked up longer. Now, I got a room full of batteries that I can't even discharge, since the only 24v thing I'll have is the inverters. I want to drain the batt so I can test the recharging system.
