Status: Pending Delivery
Estimated Delivery Date: Saturday, 02/27/2021

Fingers crossed for today...at least that's what the tracking indicates.  But the inverters have been sitting in the distribution warehouse since Wednesday the 24th.

Decided to read through some of the reviews on this shipping company...and it looks like an on-time delivery with Frontline Freight is about as scarce as hen's teeth.  The current 20 days' cross-country shipment time is completely normal for them.  And completely unacceptable for us.

Tracking might currently say "estimated delivery on Saturday"...but with a reputation like theirs, I don't see them working (or being open) on Saturday.  There's a chance Sean might be able go to the warehouse and load the shipment himself; we will definitely look into that.

This shipment (and unfortunately the 2nd) was DDP from the manufacturer, so the choice of shipping company wasn't ours.  We are working with a dedicated, local shipping company (with a branch in China) for future shipments...all future inverter order shipments will be EXW as far as the manufacturer is concerned.

Sweet, thanks Sid that will be nice to have.  As long as the web page is nto some weird java or some kind of thing that don't work with a screen reader.

I just got a Grow Tent up and going yesturday and it will give the GS inverts some fun up and down power. got a  heater in it that goes on and off to keep it at 80F and two fans, LED Grow Lights.

Will have a second grow tent put up next week, one even bigger then this one and have the same system. so will be pulling ona nd off around 2k with the heater off I drop down to 500 watt.

Any update, did it budge from the warehouse, did Sean go slap them around and pick them up?  I wouldn't be surprise if it don't show up till Wensday.

You guessed it: no update on the tracking.

I'm pretty sure they're closed today anyway.

So it looks like the shipping company decided to not deliver the inverters today.  Tracking says they're still at the warehouse, and I haven't heard anything from Sean...I was expecting my phone to blow up with photos of the load anytime today...

Perhaps it comes as no surprise that the shipping company has a 2-star rating on Google, out of 200 reviews.

Last time we're using them if we have a choice, that's for sure.

Is that 2 Stars out of 10 or 2 Stars out of 5? That's still better than our Post Offices if 2 out of 5 as ours only rates a 1.9 and it is the one that made national news for losing mail in ballots. And we have others that are worse rated.

2.0 out of 5 on Google out of 202 reviews

1.5 out of 5 on Yelp out of 42 reviews

1.9 out of 5 on Birdseye out of 209 reviews (yeah, who?)

1.0 out of 5 on BBB out of 6 reviews (with a B- non-accredited BBB score)

Hey, we weren't comparing to USPS 🙄.  I'm avoiding shipping anything via USPS if I can avoid it.  UPS has been quite decent.

USPS is hit and miss with mostly miss. We now have two items in tracking that have not shown that that they got to where they were going. In fact, one has no info at all for it.

"Information Available Soon

USPS doesn't yet have a status update on this item shipped from the Post Office. Information is usually updated within the hour of your visit. Please check back soon."

And one going to the same place but different box got there a day ahead of when it was expected with both of them mailed at the same time.  And you are right on UPS, they seem to get the job done when all the others have failed. There is a shipping company that is even worse than the one you are dealing with. They pick up stuff in CA and get it to GA in a week. And then it sits there for another 2 weeks. So nearly 4 weeks after it is picked up, the USPS delivers it.

Still says "Pending delivery", and each day, the "estimate date" is today.

Understood that Sean emailed them several days back requesting liftgate, and reportedly they said Monday.  Time will tell.

Called the company.  Sounds like they're slating for Wednesday delivery.  Which means they'll have been sitting in the warehouse not moving for pretty much a week.

We're all fed up with delays by now...will NOT be using this company for future orders.

I'm tempted to ask for the address of said company and ship a thank you gift to them. . .  I mean, come on, they could send two guys or three to unload the blasted things with out a lift.  If I was up there I got two box trucks with lifts on them.  Geesh.  Not sure how many Sean getting on this first order, cause he never said, just the second order of 25.

Bill of lading indicates 3 pallets, with 2 of them each weighing over 800lbs.  Those would have to be some strong dudes ;-).
