It is POSSIBLE that we'll be able to set the configuration up just right so the paralleled inverters equally share the loads...but more far more likely in practice that one unit will take most of the load--until it starts to throttle back slightly, then the other one will pick up the slack. (Voltage drop in the wires to the breaker panel likely will figure quite prominently in this function!)
Bluetooth featre maybe? That would replace the cable not being used 😛
I thought the Control boards came from them though?, even without the code the board should be the same as always. Or is this a custom board you order from another company?
They do. So far all the boards we have are the same initial batch--which for their inverters, they can test each one before sending them out. In our case, we're the test bench, as we haven't given them the ability to test the inverters before shipping them to us.
Weird things can happen--I have purchased genuine parts from Mouser Electronics that were faulty. Over a decade ago, I bought 2 Microchip PICs from the same family (PIC18F2610 and PIC18F4610)...and the 4x PLL clock multiplier doesn't work on one of them. Genuine parts from a genuine parts supplier.

Far more trouble than it's worth at this point.
Ah, yeah when they getting their parts from another company that forgot to tell them they saving ap enny by taking a featur that was in the original part that being thrown on a product line that had said feature.
Mine arrived today. But I'm too ill to do anything with it.

Thats cool. Mine hasn't left Sean work bench. Still missing some loose screws and some not so tight nuts. . . . *snickers*

Umm...it's good that you have it, but I couldn't put a thumbs-up on the post 😉...

Understood. Don't know what I have but having a fever of 100° when you normally are down in the 97° range is no fun.
I see someone's got an inverter, does that mean the new batch are in & getting ready to go out?

This is the first shipment. Last we heard about the 2nd shipment, it was waiting for customs clearance...then it'll be shipped from LA to Sean's place.
Update on 2nd shipment: apparently it's STILL held in customs, "the message given by the customs clearance bank is that the inspection is expected to end next Wednesday", then followed by a 2-week estimated delivery to Michigan--NOT using Backline Freight.
I suppose I'm not too surprised by the delays, as we originally were under the understanding that the 2nd shipment was coming in through a New York port. Nope...it went through LA--which apparently has a severe backlog of ships waiting to unload. And the shipment has been stuck in customs for quite some time now.
For the 3rd shipment (still not ordered...pending some 12kw inverter tests) we will be using our own shipping company, who is planning to route the shipment into a port in Chicago--completely bypassing the overloaded LA port.

Hey Sid, do you need me to make a trip to Jax to inspect the shipment on the Chinese ship? 😁 Been there, done that on things bigger than a breadbox. A lot bigger than a breadbox and all the way down on the bottom level of the container ship. If they had been any lower I would have had to have done it in SCUBA gear. 😧 They had to open the hatches the day before so that the sunlight could get to the bottom. And then there was the climb back up to the top deck to get to the Captain's cabin. Proper protocol for visiting a foreign ship was followed. Thank goodness it was a Panamax ship or it would have been worse.
