Sorta.  Got sucker punched with a deadline on a commercial project utilizing customized GS inverters...trying my best to see if I can try to meet an impossible deadline...

If I can breathe a bit tomorrow (helps I'm off work then as well), I might be able to get the parallel inverter code tweak implemented and off to Sean for testing.  Yes, I know, it's been FOREVER since you purchased them, but...if I can beg for a little bit more of the very empty stretched-out bin of patience...I'll get this pulled together.

Balancers are on the website, should be able to purchase them...?  I will talk with Sean about sending you some complementary balancers...how many do you need for a set on your main battery bank?  And what type (LiFePo4 or Li-Ion)?

Le Ion I need 14.  Lp4 32 would cover all the new cells.

Just got some more solar panels in today lol.  I got to get out and put panels up, we just had a cold front came through so it should warm back up so I can get out and get those up next.

OK, just ONE battery bank, not every single one of them.......

...thinking more of one complementary set so you can find out whether they are something you can safely install FIRST.

well I would put them on the 18650  so I guess 7 that would cover one of them.  Still was going to order at least 8 more of them, cause I got that new bank I've not put up on solar yet the 250a presmatic bank.

I am late to the OS conversation

I didn't mess with computers for years because of windows nothing to do with cease and desist letter from Bill

I was persuaded to give Ubuntu a try by sid

It has been great not one issue absolutely perfect!!!

If your sick to death of computers I highly recommend ubuntu

It  did take a day or two to get used to

Keep in mind the last OS I used was a hacked corporate edition of XP

Don't laugh I had it going on back then I was a big deal in my own mind

I had a  server and a few repeaters

I ran wires through over and around a big apartment complex and nearby places

I built the wife pc with the brand new Pentium 4 512meg of ram  256 meg Nvidia G-Force 2  and hot swappable 10k rpm scuzzy hard drives with my custom plexiglass side case with neon flashing lights to the music

Mine was same but AMD Athlon 2100

I hosted big net partys playing first person shooters like unreal Tournament and Serious Sam

I though I had life by the horns

Bring back memories for anyone

God bless

Sigh.

Ended up spending the WHOLE day yesterday getting the new PCB design (for a mega commercial project) actually working again.  Expected that to take 3-4 hours at most (including the SMD PCB rework), not 10 hours.

Have not gotten to the code tweak yet--and my Saturday/Sunday are pretty well completely wiped out with other responsibilities.  I'm working on it, and I do apologize for the delays.

By that point we should be able to just swap you for a brand spankin' new inverter with the C board in it...we've delayed FAR too long on your inverter order.  They're still sittin' on the bench waiting for the code upgrade.

Need to write a few lines of code to get the Master unit to "call for help" from the "slave" units, and then it's back to Sean's bench for testing.

Well I'm even later. But I got to computers early on. Like even before the first IBM PC was released. I learned programing on an IBM 360/370.  First OS I had was DOS 3. Then it ran the rest of them including versions from IBM, Novell, and others while also using CP/M and Windows starting with Win 3, 3.1, 3.11 For WorkGroups.  WFWG 3.11 fixed the bugs of the others and could do things that Win95 broke. During that time OS/2 was also on one or more computers. Then there was Win 2000 Pro. When Win XP came out, it was tried.  But lost out to various versions of Linux. At the time, White Box Linux was favored and it was running on 9 computers of mine.  They were running SETI at Home 24/7 which I had started on May 31, 1999. Which I ran until they shut the program down. Now it is only Win 10 Pro but if they break one more thing, Linux may end up back on the computers. Favored one was Linux Mint. Which is derived from Ubuntu.

I'm actually switching to linux as of late.  trying to get Ubuntu to install on this computer, but it will not work, due to the touch screen having a bad reaction during the install, in windows I have it disabled.  will have to see if I can disable it all together in bios.  Other wise will have to use another computer to load it, right now useing raspberry pie, but its struggeling to keep up with my fast moving around witht he speech going.

Hey Sid, how long before you push out the production of the Rev C board?

A question many of us are going to be asking.

Why? you wanting it too?  If it is going to be another month, I'm almost tempted to tell sean to hold on to those inverts until the rev c board comes out.  Matter of fact, he could use those two inverts for his dasy setup.

Yep. The question is a new board or another whole inverter when the version C ones come out.  Right now mine is under an 1800 Watt load as it is running both the fridge and the portable A/C as it is 90°F out.
