I assume that the back side of the terminal strip for the output of the inverter is insulated from the case. Reason for the question is that the top terminal on mine is loose and the bolt itself is moving around.
And the foam on the bottom of the box is crushed in shipping. Inverter is undamaged.

Yes it is. Hard plastic frame.

The actual terminal bolts are pretty loose by design and will move around inside their hard plastic frame. The hard plastic frame shouldn't be loose, though.
