Well, I just got my heat sinks in, just waiting for the silcon insulators to come in and the balancers.  Probley won't see those until my gs gets shipped.  Maybe this week?  Or next?  Or wait, three from now. . . Just kidding.  I'm sure Sid is close to getting that code done on Linux, since well I'm running linux now. its so easy then windows. . .

Fixed that bug after I found it.  Now on to the power monitoring issue...then daisy/parallel.

Does anyone have some of Sid's balancers in the wild yet?

Hoping to see some pictures of the setup you have for ideas.  When I figure something out to hold my heat sinks I will post it, I have CPU coolers, but really re-thinking it after laying it out just way too big.

Have you seen Sean's video where he put them on his powerwalls?

Obviously, I have 'em on my LFP bank too...but that's super-homey first prototype version from 5 years ago that don't have the LCD on 'em.  Which is why I added an LCD to these--so without interface/infrastructure, you can see the cell voltages at a glance and make sure they're all good.

Thanks I had not seen that video.  I am not sure how I missed it, guess just missed the alert because I pretty much watch every video.  I may keep the fans on my CPU heat sinks then can just run them all on low.

I got my order in on the 30th so hoping to get them soon.  Working on top charging up my new battery today and laying out the heat sinks and trying to decide how I want to mount things to get everything ready.

Printed up some adapters get the cpu fans connected together.  Really nice and sturdy isolates the heat sinks as well plan is to mount them right above the battery.  Making some adapters for the top battery on both ends that this will notch in to.

If you're planning 1 balancer per heatsink...they'd better not touch, or you'll short a battery string out.  Can be kind of exciting admittedly...

Yes, I will still plan to add the silicone pads but figured isolating them would be second layer of protection.

Added some little braces to make sure that the heat sinks can't move and touch just a quick picture of the update to it.  I will wait to drill and tap the holes till I have the balancers to pick out where I want each one mounted.

Okay, I got my balancers yesturday.  Uhm, I don't see no place for the heat sink. . . I think I feel the pads, not sure, I feel looks like two metal square in the center of the blank I guessing its the back and the other sides has some kind of squre thing and the bottem of where I think the pads are is the program chip. . .  I don't see any mounting holes at all.
