INVERTER: 5000W-LF-PSW-SP-12V/220V w/ charging (image attached)

ISSUE: Will NOT charge above 13.7V. When voltage hits 13.7v alarm sounds w/ red light illuminated! (constant beep)

Ive had this inverter for a year or so but haven't used it much. The other day I wanted to use it to fully charge the large 3kWh Lifepo4 battery thats attached to it, And when the voltage reached 13.7 volts the alarm went off. I tried turning off the inverter, unplugging it from mains voltage, and disconnecting the battery and trying again. I did this multiple times, but a few seconds after it starts charging it goes into alarm mode. (constant beep w/ red light illuminated)

If I discharge the battery some and try to charge it again, it goes into alarm mode as soon as it hits 13.7v

I double checked I had the battery voltage selector in the proper position, and the selector was on position 5 which should be 14.4 volts. I tried again with the selector set to 14.8v / 15.1v / 15.5 and it makes no difference... (I actually tried every position on the battery voltage Selector)

I also verified that the battery BMS is not disconnecting for some reason, causing the inverter to sound the alarm. I verified this using both a multi-meter & a load.

(The alarm sound is just a constant beep & red light is illuminated)

If @Sid or anyone else can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it!

Let me know if you need any more info.

THANKS!

Fun fact about PJ inverters: the hardcoded "battery charge voltage" setpoints (chosen by the battery voltage selector rotary switch) has several entries that are higher than the hardcoded OVP setpoint.

In other words, some of the charge setpoints are guaranteed to cause an OVP shutdown!  There is no way around this in the firmware.

The only hack around this is to use one of the setpoints that don't cause an OVP shutdown, and adjust the battery voltage potentiometer to hopefully get the target voltage.  Said potentiometer simply shunts the voltage divider feedback to the main MCU--so it adjusts every setpoint UVP, OVP, battery charge, etc.)

No idea though why regardless of where the battery voltage potentiometer is set, it refuses to charge over 13.7v before sounding the alarm?
