a 3 piece stainless steel inverter. transformer in one box, control box is a second larger ss box and the 3rd ss small box is labeled thor's notebook and has the 2 lcd screens.

i will send pictures later . the transformer box said asl 6.5 i believe.

it came with a upower manual which does not correspond to this inverter in anyway.

it was sold on ebay as a powerjack inverter but there is no place on the inverter that has any brand naming that i can see.

trying to arrange 3 boxes in a tight space with interconnecting cable is the next challenge.

got it unboxed with no external damage and inside my solar power shed before the rains started yesterday.

also assembling a 32 cell 8S4P 1088ah LiFePO4 battery using 272Ah Lishen cells.

i have some other LIFePo4 batteries i can test it on eventually after bit.

needed the rain but definitely humid now.

previous powerjack inverters had genetry solar label on the included manual. this one does not. evidently they are hiding the powerjack name a bit now. no new manual as this is an old manual which does not correspond to this inverter much.

I  think the ASL6.5  is a good transformer  because it is  30VAC  to 240VAC  and  may run cooler .    My   15kw Powerjack  has a ASL9  transformer  run 36VAC  to 240VAC  and  get  hot  so I run at  61 vdc  input  .   Yours maybe run at lower DC input .    Powerjack  doing a lot of changes .

Sorry yours  is  24v input  so it is not  30vac  to 240vac  but  I  think it will  still  run cooler with the ASL 6.5  .   I  do not think  a ASL9   is in any 24v  15kw  powerjack .

the above is how the website shows to interconnect the transformer and control board boxes. the transformer is on the bottom. the control box on top. thge Thor's notebook box with the 2 lcd screens is not shown but it likely hooks up in the other end of these 2 boxes. have not quite de-cyphered that part out yet. more later.

it says 11.1 so i think that is the control board version; and at 60 hz on the box. thor's note book has 2 of the round screw on type 7 pin lcd cables which are about 7 feet long to connent the lcd screens to the other end of the somehow? have to turn it around. it is a fairly heavy >>>> the transformer and control box but there is a note that says to connect the lcd screens before turning on the inverter to prevent burning out the lcd screens. so have to figure that end out also.

have to look at web site for the connections a bit as they are not in the included manual. maybe Sid can make them a good manual! 😎

our ac output as follows:

2 ac output socket, output is 110v, also we have hard wire terminal-----L1, N, L2,

L1+L2=220V, L1+N=110V, L2+N=110V

Note: can not L1+N+L2 at the same time!!!

  • 15000W Low Frequency Split Phase

  • Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter

  • DC 24V   AC 110V,220V 60HZ

    • With UPS & ATS

    • With 110V Battery Charger

    • With 110V & 220V LCD Display Box

  • AC 110V: 7500W continue power, 30000w peak power

AC 220V: 7500W continue power, 30000w peak power

    • We separte the control board and the transfomer in two boxes,

    • so cusotmer will receive two boxes as photos show,

one is the transformer box,the other is the control box

so u can only do either 7500 watts at 110 volt or 7500 watts at 220 volt?  it says you can't do both at the same time what does that mean for wiring up a split phase inverter?

the original listing said it would do 15000 watts continuously the after buying they updated the listing to say 7500 watts continuos. 7500 would work for most anything i would be using i think.

@pilgrimvalleyFirstly, you bought a PJ inverter.  Consider yourself very fortunate to be able to reach 1/2 of that rating continuously...with a more reasonable expected maximum sustained continuous output of 30%.  Most "cheap" inverters utilize either deceptive ratings (i.e. advertising the peak)...or they will use simply fallacious numbers.

I will note that for wiring up a PJ inverter...the L1 / N output circuit more often than not has twice the transformer wire than the L2 / N output circuit.  But for practical purposes, this won't mean much.
