this is a PowerJack 8000 watt PSW SP LF AMG version inverter not a u-power inverter, 👍 the u-power you tell about would have greater claims....wow!!!!

Correct.  A "15,000W U-Power" is literally a relabeled "8,000W Power Jack."  There is no internal difference between the two.

I haven't installed an external AC choke on my LFPSW-8000 Inverter. I was hoping you guys could advise me. One thing I discovered is to run my 750 watt refrigerator, I had to wire it to the AC output terminals rather than simply plug into the inverter receptacle. Then I have to begin powering a 115 V small appliance . Once the inverter is running, and sending current to a small appliance, I can plug the refrigerator and it runs fine.

Are you running the inverter in power save mode by any chance?

Assuming that function works, it only can detect power on one phase--not the other one.  Wouldn't put it past PJ to have wired the outlet to the phase that ISN'T monitored for power save 😉.

This inverter is an AMG, and jumpered (L1-N2, L2-N1) for full 110 V power. A duplex  receptacle  is wired to the L1 and N1. Switch set for power save off. If I plug in the refrigerator first, I get a red light and audible alarm. The refrigerator doesn't start. But if I first start my portable (2.9 amp) evaporative cooler, and then plug the (6.5 amp) refrigerator to the receptacle it runs fine.

The refrigerator doesn't run when connected to the receptacle built into the inverter, but the evaporative cooler will.
