I need to open it up and look, I suppose?
Powerjack only make the rev 11.3 control board now . Check to see if your is rev 11.3 control board . Repair is difficult if your is rev 11.0 control board or if rev 11.1 control board . The mainboard ribbon cable is different for the rev 11.3 control board .

Transformer not wired, without the WiFi board, and with zero programming in the processor. The factory can't even test that it runs before it goes out the door. All final assembly and testing is Sean's responsibility.
Sean says he is no good at soldering so I hope more would be done at the factory with automated pick and place machines....
but lately it seems they have encountered delay after delay after delay in their delivery so good to buy from a eBay vendor with stock in Walnut California or from the new Lansing Michigan warehouse,,,
it is always amazing how in some countries they survive a simple life on a very small wage.....
in rural Bolivia South America many laborers are paid 9 bolivianos per hour which is (9bs/6.95bsper one US dollar = a mere $1.29 per hour)but a typical wage is called an obra(days work) costs 120 bs an includes the food for the day and is a 10 hour work day...so actually 12 Bs per hour plus probably 3-5 dollars for food also as a benefit...
in the USA I find it hard to find any worker with the inflation for less than 13 dollars per hour and most want 18 dollars or more, even the illegal immigrants which I can not employ...
I think Dickson scored a winner with the ASL6.5 transformer in the 9000 watt repairable inverter for 200 bucks....👌👍😎

There's a huge difference between SMD assembly (standard with pick and place machines) vs hand-soldering through-hole parts (which generally are not done by machine). Or soldering other items/connectors.
turns out that 70% of Sean's soldering issues were due to the fact that he was using lead-free solder. (The other 30% would have been due to a very weak soldering iron.) After we made that discovery and he got a roll of proper 60/40...wow, such an improvement! For whatever reason, I have never been able to get lead-free solder to work in any form or fashion.
it would still make sense to have more assembled by a factory that does it repetitive with good quality control if you ever find one....
I only use electrical solder for electrical work and have never used lead free solder for any electrical soldering....
I use lead free solder with a torch routinely in copper water pipes though...and with copper and brass solder joints in plumbing for the past 40 years....lead free solder requires the correct temperature and is more a pain in the axx to use for sure.... a learned skill.....practice practice.....the right tools make the difference

Jack and his workers is not the one for good quality control . I repair broken connection on ribbon cable and finger-tight screws on wire connection on output board and miss wired AC output board . MY 9000 kw PJ works good but was not easy . IF I push the start button and not fix the wires and the FETs will blow up and my inverter is a junk Powerjack .
