PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version :

PowerJack 30k inverter:

their PowerJack packaging seems to get less protective all the time, yes they are super heavy....especially the transformer box!!!

the seller replied and said they would send 10 fuse holders,,,,??? go figure

they must be cutting corners on the packaging as they were not double boxed....the second one came via UPS with less damage than the FedEx delivery anyways...😎

Probably  the 10  fuses are  20 amps  glass fuse  for a  9000 watts Powerjack .      The  30kw  transformer box  AC INPUT  socket is probably for factory  test of the transformer .

these are the same units they are selling( at least advertising for 2000 to 4000 dollars... to compete with who????  .........maybe they are competing with code robbing reverse engineers???? because they can for pennies and still make money in high volume sales..............jack is not sitting around doing nothing.......

I  an  doing  some  good with  dispute to this  Ebay  seller working for Jack  with Paypal and  Ebay  and the  bank  for refund  fast .       I  did it again  and got  refunded  again  because  the seller ship   too  late  according  to Ebay  and I will not return the item  IF   I get it .

the bashing of powerjack may drive their sales people crazy and persuade buyers to go elsewhere.

ebay and paypal show a 180 day time period to contest if they do not ship or product not as advertised , etc.

paypal seems like a good safety net for purchases of delayed prolonged shipping..

i did get a small box which i think is the replacement fuse holder that was broke, but lambs and multitudes of spring has arrived things keeping very busy...

wonder how loud the 12k will be?

"average joe" put a larger fan in his 12k growatt e-type lf inverter to make it quieter....

I   wonder how loud the GS12k will be?    The decibel meter   show  78  on youtube  which is louder than my gas generator at 69 decibel .   The  decibel meter do not show IF  the inverter run  12000 watts  and the noise with four  fans  in high .  Do not know  if the inverter can run  13000 watts at  100 degree F .   I see Average Joe  decibel  meter show  40 on the Growatt 12kw on youtube .

PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version :

i opened the small box and they (the eBay PowerJack seller) sent 10 of the replacement fuse holders... i only needed one so will have 9 spares....it seems to be a through hole solder in place type of fuse holder....

i will have to open up the 30k PowerJack LF PSW SP transformer box to repair it.

i still wonder if this fuse is strictly for the testing part of the 30k modular transformer though????

i just won another eBay auction for a 30k PowerJack on eBay for $439.93 including taxes and shipping.... so i can have redundant systems...PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version : on Saturday 4/29/2023

likely 3-4 months before it arrives though....

i also have a brick building i am also thinking of adding solar to it in the future,,,,or put it on top of the old f350 dually truck for a portable welder powered by solar???

at $439 dollars that is 3300/440 = 7.5 PowerJack 30k LF PSW SP modular AMG version inverters for the price of one GS12k inverter in the future if they do not raise the price too much more....

A GS12k inverters plus shipping so say $3210 ($210 tax)plus $90 for shipping>>> a gs12k would cost $3300 dollars delivered to me (for one GS12k) in the future.....vs 7.5 of the 30k PowerJack LF PSW SP modular inverters with the new boards....

i utilized PayPal for payment with my 2 percent cashback credit card....

yes, the question will be heat dissipation at high temperatures for sure.... the fans are what they depend on to keep the heavy iron core toroidal transformers cool>>> but the newer modular versions with separate boxes may be a good design change to keep all the boards away from the transformer's heat output...

their big stumbling block is still shipping damages with inadequate package protection.....

even with insurance to protect the package,,,,, that does not compensate for the long wait time for prepay guinea pigs....how long until they send out replacement units if ever????

it is lawn mowing season along with lambing season.....so i have been repurposing free used pallet wood for projects....yesterday i scored nine2"x8"x8' for free with some free pallets etc ....may that trip in the truck pay for itself with repurposed wood....

have a great day.....😎

I  think most buyer will request  a cash refund for  damage in shipping  and not wait for the replacemrnt  inverter .   When I sell on ebay the buyer always  get cash refund ftom me for damage in shipping  .    The insurance pay  immediately and cover shipping cost and tax .

Your transformer box is like my 30kw PJ  and the AC outlet is for factory test before shipping .   The package of 10 fuse is what the older 9kw Powrjack use instead of  AC breaker .

I  like to get more 30kw foreever PJ  but I  got this seller  angry at ne for getting refunded  2 times  and I am going to  dispute again next month for late shipping .

Sean says he can solder the capacitors on the circuit boards and the capacitors have 5 legs or something like that to make them stronger ((may help with the shipping damage or delivery guys dropping the heavy  gs inverters)).... to me it seems it would be better to have the factory install all the pieces and parts vs hand soldering >>> a tedious task,,,

but if time is of little value >>>

I find my time is almost always occupied and everything takes longer to get finished....

I found a heavy vice mounted to a receiver tube at my rental property... for free yesterday....when cleaning up there,,,, yea ha ,,, hot dang  >>> a grand find.... those vices cost over 100 dollars now and make a great extra pair of hands in the shop!!!

have a great day!

Rome wasn't built in a day...we're doing the best we can with what we have.

Worth noting that the capacitors are (unfortunately) custom spec.  They actually are not produced in China (for this run anyway).  In order to pipeline final assembly at the PCB factory, it would actually take LONGER--because all of the items for the PCB have to be completely manufactured and sent to the PCB company before said PCB company will even start on the PCB production order.  (In other words, two production times put in a series line, instead of happening concurrently parallel.)

Doing it this way allows us to be the "final collection point", reducing time requirements--and anything that saves us time is what we need to do!

But I definitely do hope to pipeline things through the PCB company on future production orders: we just have to order all of the custom parts for the mainboards significantly earlier than everything else.

Oh, and the PCB company will just hand-solder the caps to the PCB anyway.  Hand assembly of all hardwares, etc.  So not much difference there...

Wilton 5 inch vice evidently has a value over 1000 dollars made in the USA and the bolted it to a grate welded to a receiver hitch....put a dent in my wheel barrow trying to unload the darn heavy piece of iron.....i suspect it was stolen as people do not leave anything of value to speak of at rental houses.... 2 four hour days and 2 truck loads of debris removed from the yard though....the lambs keep my days busy this spring checking the new lamb crop etc....

cleaning up the yard at a rental house as the grass is growing fast now.... got to do it (what a task) but the weather was a balmy 67 degrees so that helped out.....

PowerJack 30000 watt LF PSW SP inverter 2 case module AMG4 version :

a 30k powerjack is enroute for the backup of the backup or welder inverter off-grid....

see how fast the slow boat ride is????

About 10 years ago, I was helping someone move from a house they had sold, and there was a good vise mounted in the garage. I could have taken it but didn't have the tools to unbolt it. I still kick myself for not finding a way to remove it. I only have a small Harbor Freight vise that I use very often.

yes, the extra trip and extra effort is often hard and a time consumer....I had to unload and move a lot of things on Sunday to get my 16 foot flatbed car trailer out of the pasture after all the snow this winter....the local ATV dealer said i could have the old iron and wood loading deck,,,, so when i went to load it up it was actually 18 feet long and the screw jack and some boards for leverage to load it but an hour later or a bit more I scored a 5 plus feet wide by 18 feet iron and wood loading ramp it is about 3 feet tall.....for free only 3 gallons of gas and my time....rich people often do not want or need useful things that can fit the bill down on the farm.,,,, I buy some harbor freight tools thru the years >>> some is good enough and some is not very durable....today I bought a 1/2. inch Milwaukee corded drill for 10 bucks at a garage sale.....I use a lot of cordless tools but hard to beat the durability of a Milwaukee corded drill for 10 bucks.....made is USA tools of old are made to last and last and last.....😎

I'm a bit of a packrat, but have had great success utilizing my horde. I do throw things out regularly, just recently a wireless phone system. I don't have a telephone landline any more, but the now obsolete phone system served me well at one time.
