Hello All,

My 15Kw inverter went overheated, blew up several mosfet boards.  I all mosfet boards, and the driver board.  Now, when I turn it on, the two LED screen came on, no voltage display, and keeps beeping.  Can someone give some directions on how to solve this problem?  Many thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Tung

Depending on the time frame of the  warranty coverage you maybe get some  free replacements parts, otherwise you  will have to give more cash to Mr jack to replace those mosfets boards , the main and driver board. These parts are fairly easy to replace ( no soldering necessary) by the way those mosfets  LED indictor are cosmetic  they are alway on with burnt mosfets.

Thanks for your reply.  All mosfet boards are new.  This inverter infact I bought it Sean from Genetry Solar a few years ago when he was working Power Jack.  the first day I installed it, accidentally reversed the L1 and N.  I have been trying contact Sean to pay to repair it, but he never reply my call or email. I replaced the mosfet boards and the driver.  When I turned on, everything seemsed ok.  It keeped beeping.  It would be nice to have it fixed.

The thing is PowerJack inverter is affordable, but it is not reliable.  All other inverter are expensive that was why bought it from him. If I can get another brand that is more affordable, I would dump this inverter.  Thanks again for your input.

MY  15kw is the same as yours but  was rebuilt  with the ASL9.0 transformer and has the rev 10.3 rev board .  I have been using for 3  years and iis very reliable  sometime  running  24/7 .     I email Sean email  many times and he  never answer  .    I can fix your  inverter  with the rev 11.3 control board  amd a  complete main board  .    Powerjack no longer make any of the parts in your  and mine  inverter  so  the parts  has to come from China .  I   done this and  can run a 4 ton heat pump for 1/2 hour  now .  The  main board  has FETs  that is lot better than 3 years ago  and it  never blow up  so far .

Sean no longer handles Power Jack service--not only has he not been compensated for quite some time for providing service, he also does not have any of the new parts, nor any "new" units to base repair information off of.  And there is a limit to how much one person can handle as far as responding to everything--plus living.

I  live in Phoenix .     I can show you the repair with  Pictures .     The cost for parts is  less than 650 dollars .   The parts can be from  ebay  and China  or   I have many  working and bench tested  spare parts .   Thank you  for asking .
