Just got in new 20000w inverter. I have Two 24V Lifepo4 100ah batteries ran in series. Voltage of the two is 51 and change.
When I hookup the battery to the inverter,i use a light bulb to take the connection blast) the battery voltage drops down to 3 volts reading from the battery bank and inverter will not turn on. When disconnecting the batteries their voltage rises back up to 51. What could possibly be the issue here?

Betcha it's a lovely battery BMS trick going on here...
What's the specific battery modules you're using? EG4? something else?
