thanks i'm just going through the bad boards to see what is bad. Ordered new everything. That should do it but i don't put any of the old ones in the inverter.
too many booms to fix hi hi BigBob
I found a site that allows starting well pump motors with the smaller inverters using inrush current limiters. Need to find the site again.
will the 3 wire fan run on just red and black ?
will the 3 wire fan run on just red and black ?
Most likely. 3-wire fans usually are Positive, Tach and Negative.
Is there anywhere I can go to a URL that has the description of the board hookups?
That's a v10.3C board.
Bottom left corner, the one marked "FAN+"...for whatever curious weird reason, the non-populated connector on the left, is identical to the connector that is installed...just with a reversed pinout.
In most PJ inverters...nothing goes to these connectors. Fans are usually controlled by a thermal switch hot-glued to the transformer.
It is important not to mix up the 2 large 10-pin connectors...if they are reversed, it will blow up several things on the control board (have seen it).
No, there is no official documentation or service manuals of any sort for the PJ inverters. We're talking China here, not old-fashioned U.S. engineering that was designed to last a very long time.
I did write this pinout photo up some time back for a different customer:
Thanks so much i hate to bother you but the power board to the right please, do you know what the two 5 pin connectors have connected to them?
The ones that are offset a little and the 12v pins are staggered. Thanks BigBob
I Don't want to blow this thing up 1st time hihi.

The two 4-pin connectors? (There are no 5-pin connectors on any of the PJ boards.)
If so, those go to the LCD screen, and do not need connected for it to function.
thanks BigBob
On the top fuzzy picture i show the led at the top right lit but it goes out 1 or 2 secs after the inverter says its on ?
On pictures 5 and six the board says it's a ver 11.0 does thjat make any difference ?

Earlier photo clearly showed a 10.3C board, that was the old board?

No, it doesn't appear that they made any change other than to the silkscreen 😉.
Is there any output from the inverter when the green light is on?
