Is there a good way to contact someone in sales, or tech support? Tried using the Contact Us form - first day I tried, got an error. Then, I tried the phone number, without being connected to anyone. Later today, I registered for the site, in case that was a way to have success in using the Contact Us form - this time, I didn't get an error, but there was no indication that the message was submitted.
Possibly someone on the forum can tell me if the Genetry Solar 6kw inverter would do what I'm looking for.
The application currently in focus is to add battery backup for pressurizer pump. The primary goal is to ensure water is available at the house during power outages. The pump pulls from a 10,000 gallon storage tank, and draws 12 amp @240 vac, with in-rush of 60 amps. Looking for at least 30 minutes of battery reserves, which will give a buffer in case some limited irrigation is needed during outages. The pump runs for approx two minutes until the 238 gallon pressure tanks reach upper pressure set point. So, that would allow for the 30 gallons/day we use for house use plus approx 1500 gallons for irrigation purposes. Outages very rarely exceed a day, so the 1500 gallons is far more than needed for high priority watering.
- I'd like to have the grid power passed through the inverter during normal operation, and be capable for both manual or automatic switch over to battery when power is lost.
- Also, have the inverter manage charge levels of LiFePO4 batteries, shutting off when the batteries charge level has dropped below low power level set point.
Does the Genetry Inverter work better with some brands of batteries? Any recommendations?

Your username looks vaguely familiar; do you presently have a Genetry Solar inverter?
If you don't presently have one.........I'm not quite sure what's going on with the business side of things (sales, haha!) at the moment, so to be frank: you might want to evaluate other options.

All of these sound to be within the functional capabilities of a Genetry 6kw inverter (if you have one!); a 60A inrush is going to be pretty solid, but still quite manageable (@ 48v battery voltage). Pass-thru and automatic switchover is standard functionality. UVP shutdown is standard as well; however, note that the GS inverters do not have means of communicating with battery BMS units. (This hasn't been a problem as far as I've heard.)
