new gs 6000 watt inverter is shutting off at 25 volts how do i change this ?
Need more context here:
- What is the inverter's part number? (STAT screen, top line. GS-????-??, etc.)
- What is the specific error upon shutdown?
@sid-genetry-solar im pretty sure i just need to figure out how to get into the battery shut down settings and change it. is the battery over volt and under volt protection setting in the battery charge section under the cfg ?
@bobby-t Yes. CFG -> Battery / Charge -> UVP A and E (A = Alarm, E = Error).
Note that if you have a 24v inverter, the UVP can't be set >24v unless Nominal has been increased. (Similarly, UVP A, E can't be set below Nominal.)
@sid-genetry-solar so a 24 volt inverter shuts down at 23.9 volts ?
set UVP equal 20vDC and and inverter will shut down at 20v and red alarm .

It had to have been changed somewhere along the way; the default setpoint will be ~20v UVP, as @dickson notes.
i also need to figure out how to set the charge function up to prevent batteries being undercharged due to not enough sun or solar. Any chances of a manual on the way ?
