Well, Sid told me to move all the fet boards from the master to the slave and the driver board.  Then when I get a invoice for the replacment parts I need. I got to swap out the control board and going to install newer fet boards into the master.  From what he says it will boost up the % of the charging I think he said like from 60% to 80%.  Which is good.  I just got done fixing the one bib cell put studs on it and now got all 8 cells matched, and got this aero grade built  contraption that has 8 sid balancers mounted on a sweet heat sink with stands and a fan that I think is temp controled. AquaticsLive
4 Sure knows how to build things. just wow. I need to take a picture of it before I install it to the bib cells, having to make two more bus bars for the cells to finish it, then wire it up with this nice beauty that AquaticsLive
4 had made for me.

Then finish the slave and mount it back to the wall.

Sid what is the torque specs for the fet screws? and I take its a number 2 phillips? I need a few of the board ones, as I kind of stripped two of them for some reason they wouldn't budge. I got a new torque screw driver coming in so I can properly spec things.

A country bumpkin ugga-dugga!  Get 'em tight, and that's good.

worth noting, the FET screws are M3.  And the FET board screws are M4.  Yes, the board screws can be little boogers to get out sometimes.  Respecced them in the all-GS inverters to screws with a deeper head.

And yes, a #2 Philips is perfect for the board screws.

Well, I just got done transplanting the fets boards, and driver board from the master GS.  took three and a half hours to unscrew 48 screws from the master, then from slave throw the old fets boards away, then move the master fets to the slave and then screw everything back in, then makeing sure the coil nuts where tighten as the lugs were moveing when I got done.. The slave is up and running, well in off mode.  Sid, can I hook up a hot leg and common from my grid power strip to the slave  switch to turn it on to test ?

Umm....not knowing what the output is connected to, I'd advise against that, as it's very easy to deadshort your AC mains through the inverter (being as they're Rev. B control boards).

If the output is connected to nothing, then yes, that could be used as a test method.

Well, for those who wanted to know, I rebuilt the two gs and waiting to make sure the settings are corrct with sid before going live on the house, but so far, so good, I got the master back up and running off a power supply running a tower fan and its running smooth no over heating and I know the slave I hope is fine, will know once the master activates it. Then will put them under a stress load to make sure we are good. After that, will be installing a breaker box and moving pretty much all my 120v to the new breaker as well as the outside AC unit what ever they call that its not the furnaceRe. I want to run everything 120v all the time and my 240v stuff will stay on the gride for the time being. Untill I install more solar and batteries, then I'll move those as well mainly the AC and the hot water heater. I want to upgrade the dryier and the hotwater to a heat pump setup. But, thats done the road like 2 or 3 years lol.
