Had my 6kw unit running th house last night for an hour or so. Everything was great! Started up my 2 ton heat pump without even flinching. The second time it started it the well pump was also running. Once those cycled off I hit it with my electric hot water heater and she just hummed right along.

Seems the max surge the 6kw is capable of handling is somewhere around 70A, or nearly 3x it's rated max continuous output. This hasn't been fully specified though.
Glad to hear it's running well for you.

2 GS 6kw in 120 volt sync mode should start a 4 ton heat pump If the max surge is less than 140 A . No test been done on youtube if it will run a 4 ton heat pump 8 hours continuous .

Genetry solar right now is literally 2 dudes trying their hardest to keep their heads above the water...
...it's not easy.
If the total load is less than the rated power of the inverters, they should be able to run 24 hours continuously. Genetry Solar inverters do not have artificially inflated ratings.

My solar panel and all the battery can only run 8 hours if I use a 12kw inverter . Two 6kw GS inverter that can handle 140 A surge should be able to run a 4 ton heat pump 8 hours instead of waiting for the GS 12kw . The heat pump is on a dedicated 240 v line and not L1 N L2 . Thank you .
